Service Opportunity VisionCactus Nazarene Ministry Center (CNMC) is a compassionate ministries site located in the diverse Texas Panhandle town of Cactus, TX. CNMC serves the 20+ nationalities in Cactus and surrounding areas (primarily immigrants and refugees from Central America, Africa, and Myanmar) through English classes, legal assistance, health clinics, sports ministries, after-school programming, family services, and more! Indoor jobs include flooring in bathrooms and throughout the ministry center.
CNMC is starting GED and citizenship programs. An awning needs to be built on the trailer for storm protection and to reduce heating on the trailer. This will save in air conditioning bills and auto damage from hail.
Ministry opportunities vary by season.
Volunteer may be involved in English as a Second Language (ESL) classes, after-school or Summer BLAST programs for elementary children, food distribution, neighborhood renewal and cleaning, family ministry.
