Service Opportunity VisionThe Church of Los Angeles of San Jose has purchased their new property in 2012 because they have grown out of their old location. God provided this new location that is on a main road. The current structure that they are meeting in is the old house on this small coffee farm. They knocked out all of the interior walls to make room for their sanctuary. This church has been organised for over 30 years but the average age is in the mid 30’s. They have a strong pastor and she has a strong calling and vision for the church. This church also has a strong board that is a supportive and motivated group of people. Service Opportunity DescriptionThis project will be done in phases. This first phase will be to create the basement of the Sunday school building. In this basement they will have more space, and be able to fit more people in the building. The property sits on a slope, so this first building is terraced to fit the slope of the land. This group of people have been paying the land of month by month as well as paying all of their budgets. The first phase of the project will be concrete and block. Future phases will include the final sanctuary, and about 8 sunday school classrooms. This property will be a multi use property available to serve the the community and schools that are within walking distance. Scheduled Team Trips |
