Mango Tree - Relationship Building and Community Construction
Service Opportunity VisionThis project will provide opportunities for the Mango Tree Respite Care Facility to build relationships with their local community through the partnership of Teams in outreach and assistance given to families of people with disability. In serving this community, they can share the love of God and the care of His church. Service Opportunity DescriptionThis project is geared to help expand the ongoing work at the Mango Tree Respite Care Facility on the South Pacific island of Tonga and help a family with a disabled member better equip their home. This project would be a relationship-building concept team in which members work inside or around a family's home. An example would be for the team to build a wheelchair ramp or make a bathroom more accessible for one of the families who are participating in the services provided by the Mango Tree Facility.
