Service Opportunity DescriptionThe top floor of this church experienced a fire on March 4, 2010. The second floor was used as a sanctuary.
The entire top floor of the two story structure has been burned. All furniture and equipment in the church was destroyed.
Much work has been done already to the structure but there is much more to go. The second story exterior walls are erected along with the completion of the roof. However, there is a need for exterior doors and windows along with the completing of the interior walls and floor.
On March 6, 2010 Rev. Antoine St. Louis reported, "I went by Beacon Hill tonight. Indeed the whole of the second floor is destroyed with everything in it. Our prayers and immediate support is needed." Scheduled Team Trips |
